Very similar to Xylophanes rufescens but the forewing upperside uniform rust-brown
(the shadings and scattered darker patches of that species greatly reduced or entirely absent), all other pattern elements also reduced or absent. CATE
most likely just a (bred) form of Xylophanes rufescens.
Moths emerge approximately one-two months after larvae pupate.
