DISTRIBUTON:

Eumorpha satellitia analis flies in Paraguay and southern Brazil. There is a pink anal patch on the hindwing. Forewings are uniformly coloured and patterned.
This moth was raised to full species status by Haxaire and Herbin in 1999.

ECLOSION, SCENTING AND MATING:

Pupae wiggle to surface just prior to eclosion. Females call at night, and males fly into the wind to pick up and track the pheromone plume.
